Every Kubernetes cluster.
One fast window.

Steerglass is a desktop app for teams that run many clusters. Browse, debug and operate all of them side by side — live, keyboard-first and ridiculously fast.

Built for many clusters

Stop juggling contexts.

kubectl and single-cluster dashboards make you switch, reconnect and re-filter all day. Steerglass keeps every cluster one keystroke away.

Fleet overview

Health, version, nodes, pods and API latency of every cluster, checked in parallel the moment you open the app.

Cross-cluster tables

⌘-click two or more clusters and see the same resource across all of them in one live table, with a cluster column.

Live, always

Everything streams through Kubernetes watches. Thousands of rows stay smooth thanks to a native Rust core and a virtualized UI.

Logs, shell, port-forward

Follow colored logs with search, open a shell in any container, forward ports from pods and services — all built in.

Edit & apply YAML

Edit any object in a real code editor, or apply manifests with server-side apply. Every CRD in your cluster just works.

Safe on production

On production-looking contexts, deleting or restarting asks you to type the object's name. No more "wrong context" accidents.

Keyboard first

Your hands never leave the keys.

Press ⌘K and type: a resource, a cluster, a namespace or an action. Navigate tables with j k, open logs with L, jump to your favorite clusters with ⌘1–⌘9.

FAQ

Questions

Does Steerglass send my cluster data anywhere?

No. Steerglass talks directly from your computer to your Kubernetes API servers using your existing kubeconfig. There's no cloud backend, no account and no telemetry. License keys are verified offline.

Which clusters and auth methods are supported?

Anything kubectl can reach: EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift, k3s, kind, minikube, Rancher and bare metal. Token, client-certificate, OIDC and exec credential plugins (gke-gcloud-auth-plugin, aws, kubelogin…) all work as they do in your terminal.

What counts as a cluster on the Free plan?

A cluster is added to your Free plan the first time you open it. You can have three at a time and swap one for another in Settings whenever you want. Contexts you never open don't count.

Where does Steerglass read my kubeconfig from?

From $KUBECONFIG, ~/.kube/config and the other kubeconfig files in ~/.kube — exactly like kubectl. You can add more files in Settings.

Do you offer team or volume licenses?

Yes — write to us and we'll set up a team license with a single invoice.
